More than 2 million Americans suffer from opioid use disorder (OUD) – and in Arizona this crisis has led to more than 52,000 suspected opioid overdoses and 7,000 deaths since June 2017. For the first time, a person is more likely to die from an accidental opioid overdose than a car crash. This Opioid Use Disorder Business Toolkit was created by the Impact Maker Health Team. We are a collective of community champions and organizations who imagine a world where all Arizonans enjoy good health, live in healthy communities and have access to affordable health care and wellness resources. Thank you to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona for inviting us to participate in their Opioid Overdose Prevention Campaign.
